1.  In August 1995, the then Director, Product Development, BMG Classics, New York, akcnowledged in writing to 'ArrauHouse' that BMG had in its archives an unreleased Columbia recording by Arrau of Mozart's Piano Sonata No.14 in C minor K457, along with the related Fantasia K.475.  This sonata recording is not included in the current compilation.
2.  United Archives' 2006 release of its Claudio Arrau - Birth of a Legend compilation (see below) located in Columbia's archives a hitherto unreleased recording by Arrau of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No.26.  This sonata recording is included in the Birth of a Legend release, but excluded from the current compilation.
