Remarks
:
*Full Edition of Arrau's Philips & American DECCA recordings, plus one Deutsche Grammophon and one Polydor recordings,
all previously released on CD, except for the two spoken
word recordings which were previously released on vinyl only.

Please note:
This Editon has the substantially valuable benefit of
containing complete compilations.   However:

a)   a single, generic cover used for all CDs makes it cumbersome to locate individual works, and loses both the identifying feature and nostalgic character of the original covers;

b)   arranged in folded cardboard covers, mostly housing three CDs each, it makes it difficult to access the middle disc and, therefore, easy to cause damage;

c)   both the faulty sound engineering of the first movement of Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto with Davis (rec.1979) and the intrusively resonant, original digital recordings of Schubert's Sonata D.959 (rec.1982) and Beethoven's Sonatas Nos. 12 (rec.1989) and 13 (rec.1984), all in superb renditions, were not remastered for enhancement.

Arrau did not record any of these sonatas in 1979.
